As a leader of a science faculty, the information provided by SASTA is timely and helps me to support staff to engage in quality T&D opportunities whilst also allowing me to develop my skills and knowledge as a leader - Ryan

When I first joined I was an ECT and found the ECT days extremely helpful in connecting with other teachers and learning. While training aimed at Primary levels were few I have found all the ones I attended to be hugely informative and helpful in my Science teaching career and the network of SASTA has always been incredibly supportive - Katy

Being a SASTA Member means not only do I have contact with other like-minded individuals at other sites, but also access to relevant professional development to help me grow as a science educator. The PD opportunities relate specifically to the newest curriculum so I know that by attending those sessions I'm up to date with the content I'm delivering to students in my classroom. I also get the opportunity to speak professionally with other science educators at events such as the Oliphant Science Awards and various conferences throughout the year - Jean-Luc
