This late June marks a historic moment for student innovation and space education as Robinson Aerospace Systems prepares to launch their first satellite aboard a SpaceX rocket. What makes this launch truly special? The satellite carries experiments designed and built by school students from seven different countries around the globe.

Edward Robinson, Founder and CEO of Robinson Aerospace Systems, has worked with kids in Rwanda, Ukraine, UAE, Colombia, USA, Singapore and of course Australia, with kids as young as 11 involved.

The launch is a huge milestone not only for them, but also for schools kids around the world and the rapidly growing Australian space sector. Here in South Australia, students from St John's Grammar School have designed communication and radiation sensing experiments for the satellite.

The excitement doesn't stop with the launch. Robinson Aerospace Systems has just signed their first million-dollar distribution deal that will bring space education directly into classrooms across the country. Through this partnership, they'll be delivering 1,250 educational satellite kits to over 12,000 Year 7 students nationwide. This year alone, 12000 schools kids will build a satellite because of this!

For those wanting to watch the launch live, keep an eye on the SpaceX Transporter-14 mission. It's currently scheduled for a 6:49am liftoff on Saturday June 21, and will be livestreamed on SpaceX's X.com account.
