If you are a community member, educator, or professional who supports young people in Years 5-10 to build confidence, capability or connection with Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM), this is for you.
Apply for Future Shapers and help design your own prize. Supercharge your skillset or support young people to go further with STEM.
The prize
Adult Future Shapers can access individualised success plans, tailored virtual events and opportunities to connect with likeminded individuals. If selected, you can choose a prize to help you, or your community.
This prize, valued at up to $3000, can include:
- A tailored STEM resource package (of equipment, technology, books etc); OR
- An experience (like attending a conference or professional development opportunity in Australia, or getting support to run a STEM event).
Five Adult Future Shapers will be selected. We especially want to hear from you if you support young people from groups that are underrepresented in STEM (such as girls, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, those from lower opportunity areas, or regional areas.)
How to apply
Apply online here at the Future Shapers website by 1.59 AWST on Thursday, 5 December
