Register now for October's Webinar; Traditional ecological knowledge in palaeoecology: the importance of listening to, engaging with, and respecting Indigenous voices in STEM related research.

The Indigenous peoples of Australia have understood the stars, tides and local ecosystems for thousands of years. As we look to the future we are reminded of the deep history of this country and those who have cared for it.

This month’s NYSF Connect webinar is a presentation by Professor Simon Haberle. Professor Haberle will introduce the new ARC Centre of Excellence for Indigenous and Environmental Histories and Futures and its role in transforming the way researchers work with and for Indigenous communities in Australia and the region.

Professor Haberle will provide examples through his own work in palaeoecology and discuss the importance of listening to, engaging with, and respecting Indigenous voices in STEM related research.

Register now for this fantastic free professional development opportunity!

Registered attendees will also receive a recording of the webinar after the event - a great opportunity to get your hands on an excellent, free learning resource!
